This project gave students the opportunity to work with NZ Police in a way that has never been done before. The waste created from decommissioned Kevlar stab-proof pads is a significant issue that the Police wanted to address. We (the students) were given as much Kevlar as we needed and had full creative control to recycle the material into a completely new product. Pictured above is my design - The Kevlar Camper.
